Hi,
We have around 8 users who has 2 IP phones and when they call out they need to display only one number. Eg.
User 1 : Having DN as 6191 and 6192, his global identification number is 6191, hence when he calls any mobile number the number to be displayed should be 6191.
To accomplish this we created different route patterns, partitions, route list for the number 6192 and translated the calling number to 6191 in the route pattern.
Like this we did for all the 8 users.
Now, we have 500 translation pattern defined in the call manager under a partition called HO-Internal partition, but when I dial the translation pattern from the user 6192, I am getting matched to the speed dial in HO internal partition and my number goes as 6192 to the outside world.
I did force the CSS of the translation pattern but I could only accomplish one user(6192) to speed dial as 6191 to the outside world.
Can you please suggest, as we can use the route pattern for masking or we need to look into other options.

@javalenc - the way he has set it up, he will still need to replicate all these 500 translation patterns for each user as the caller id still needs to be translated for each of those 8 users individually...
@acharyr123 - how long are the digits in these translation patterns...if they all are uniform length, you can setup 8 dummy translation patterns XXXX (lets say the speed dials are all 4 digits long)..this translation does not do anything to the called digits, but the calling transformation will set the caller id of the called phone to 6191 and so on for the 8 users and the Calling search space on these translation patterns will include the partition in which the 500 translation patterns you created lie...
This setup will work only if your translation patterns (500) are all uniform length...(I assumed 4 digits in this case)...

Why couldnt you set the external phone number masks in these phones to 6191 on the 2 phones and so on...much easier solution than created 8 set of router patterns, route lists etc..

You can also use calling party transformation masks for that.
