one-way audio issue

Hi,

Please i need some help on one-way issue experiencing whenever i try to migrate a third-party switchboard device to route calls through our new SIP gateway. New SIP provider will accept only G729 but preferred MTP on third-party SIP trunk to CUCM is set to G711. There is also ios transcoder on the MRG list of the third-party device pool but i'm not sure it's been working for this call. Calls from other devices via the new SIP worked fine except for the third-party device.

Any idea of what might be causing this issue?

Ideally you would sync up codec usage, so the third party switch board would use G729 when going to call across the trunk to your SIP provider.

Region settings in CUCM typically dictated codec usage.  Does your SIP provider talk straight into your CUCM or have you a CUBE in the path?

also can you provide the  CUCM traces of such a failed call.

also are your XCODE resources registered in CUCM?
