Outbound Caller ID not working on iPhone

Hi All,

We have CUCM 10.5.1 version. MGCP Gateways. The issue is when we call out to iPhone, the Caller ID is not displayed on it. Caller ID works fine while calling all other cell phones and PSTN.

While I understand that this issue is related only to iPhones, it would be great if if you guys can provide some suggestions. May be you tried something and it worked out.

We tried:

1) Erased the contact from iPhone. Re-added . Still, it comes up as "No Caller ID".
2) Changed Cellular "LTE"setting from just DATA to VOICE & DATA. Result is same.

Thanks for your time.

Hi,

Call manager scope is limited to sending correct caller id in correct format to your telco. Rest is upto telco how it handles the caller id.

You can verify with the output of debug isdn q931 and see if correct ANI is being sent for that particular call.

Any other input on this?

Hi,

If call made to same provider with same ANI has difference in their behavior with respect to CLI presentation, I would get in touch with my Telco to ask for root cause.
