As long as the external user answers the phone before the VM grabs the line the call works fine. Otherwise, the call continues to ring well after the external phone has cut the line. Internal voicemail pickups are working as intended.

We are connected via fiber ELAN to a datacenter using SIP trunk for external connections. The problem now seems to be intermittent because I am not seeing the issue this morning.

If I understand correctly, you are getting a SIP trunk from ITSP to your infrastructure. If correct, is the SIP trunk terminating on CUBE or directly CUCM? In case CUBE, which protocol is used to connect to CUCM.

Hi, please collect "debug ccsip message & debug voice ccapi inout" in case if you can reproduce the issue.
Also, 'Early offer' is enabled on the SIP Profile applied to the CUBE SIP Trunk?
