Hello guys!
I am experiencing the following behaviour with a CUCM 9.1.1a routing calls to PSTN through a h323 gateway Cisco 2921: The CUCM has a route group for Route Patterns with first option a SIP Trunk on the gateway and as second option a mgcp FXO port on the same gateway. Sometimes outbound calls get routed through the mgcp FXO port intstead of the SIP trunk even when the SIP trunk (GigabitEthernet interface) is available.
The result is tha users sometimes get the correct SIP trunk phone mask and sometimes they received the call witth the FXO phone mask?
Where should I be aiming troubleshooting guys!
Thanks in advanced!

Hi
I suppose the distribution algorithm is "top down" and not "circular"?
You can search the CallManager logs to see why the call is sent to the FXO port instead of the SIP trunk.

Hello and thaks for your reply!
Yes, the distribution algorithm is Top Down. Where in the CUCM logs can be verified for this scenario? Thanks again!

You can download the CallManager logs via RTMT. This guide explains how you can identify and follow a call in the traces: https://supportforums.cisco.com/docs/DOC-11779
