Outgoing caller id works for most extensions but not all CME 8.6

Hi All,

I have a CME 8.6 box where outgoing caller id  works perfectly for the skinny phones but the sip phones all announce as anonymous.

I've done some troubleshooting and debugs, but simply don't know where I'm making the wrong turn.

I've attached my config and ccapi inout debug for both a successful caller id call (ephone/skinny) and an unsuccessful one (sip).

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

John

Seems like you are using a SPA Phone and the CNAME is Anonymous and not the CLID. The Anonymous CNAME is being generated by SPA itself so the router is not at fault.

087224: ISDN Se0/3/0:23 Q931: TX -> SETUP pd = 8 callref = 0x2942
Sending Complete
Bearer Capability i = 0x8090A2
Standard = CCITT
Transfer Capability = Speech
Transfer Mode = Circuit
Transfer Rate = 64 kbit/s
Channel ID i = 0xA98390
Exclusive, Channel 16
Calling Party Number i = 0x01A0, '7134684516'
Plan:ISDN, Type:Unknown
Called Party Number i = 0x81, '8326032892'
Plan:ISDN, Type:Unknown

The calling party is being extended correctly here to the Telco. If you see any deviation from this on the called party display, contact your Telco. You don't have control beyond CE.

Well I thought I posted my config but sometimes attaching files here confuses me.

Here is my config.

CLID seems to be fine. What are you using ISDN ? Enable ccsip message, ccapi and isdn q931 for another please.

Yup we are on PRI.

I've attached a current debug with ccsip messages, ccapi (all) and isdn q931.

I've dialed from extension 125, here is the earliest header of the call I placed.

From: "Anonymous" <sip:125@10.1.1.1>;tag=fec9b705b88f6108o0

To: <sip:88326032892@10.1.1.1>

As always, thank you Nipun for your help.

Thank you Nipun, I'm unsure when I'll get to pursue this further.  I'll accept your answer as correct as I'm positive it is.
