Hi All,
What will be the output of the following command "show sip service", when we have more than one SIP trunks (from two different service providers) configured in a gateway?
Thanks,
Pandi

Hi Pandi,
As per my understanding the output would not depend upon the number of service providers as this command is at the gateway level, it displays the status of SIP call service on the SIP gateway. So, the following outputs would apply
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios/12_3t/voice/command/reference/vrht_s08_ps5207_TSD_Products_Command_Reference_Chapter.html#wp1370216

Thanks Manish, So this means SIP service running on gateway is different than the SIP trunk. The SIP calls go via gateway only if the service is up. Am I right?

Hi Pandi,
The following post should answer your query
https://supportforums.cisco.com/document/26946/unable-stop-voice-call-processing-cisco-ios%C2%AE-gateway-using-call-service-stop-command
"Call processing can be selectively shutdown based on Signalling Protocol. This example shows a Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) call service being shutdown on a Cisco gateway:
voice service voip
sip
call service stop"
