Dear All,
I am facing an issue with wireless 7925 phones. we are getting high packet loss while making internal calls from wireless 7925 phones to other phones connected in LAN. It causing voice clarity issues. calls between the phones connected in LAN is working fine and no loss of packets.
Duriung the part of troubleshooting ,
We Upgraded the WLC, Loaded the latest loads in 7925 phones. Put the SSID Qos as Platinum. we enabled auto QOS in switches.
Still getting the loss. Do we need to apply any QOS particularly for Wireless phones.
Please advise..
Regards,
Dijin.

Is the wireless congested? Are there a lot of clients on it? Remember, wireless is a half-duplex medium. Only one thing can talk at a time on any given channel.
One thing you might look at is the DTIM period for the SSID the phone is on. I believe the implementation guide says to put this setting on 2.

Hi,
50 clients connected with Wireless and we have 8 APs . The issue is getting between internal calls.
The WLC is 4500 series controller, its an old hardware.

Put the SSID Qos as Platinum.
Is Platinum QoS profile set for 802.1p and tagged with the correct value?
What exact firmware version is the 4400 running on?
What protocol (a or b) is the phone configured to as "preferred use"?
