When I ping the IP address of IP Phone, there is 20% packet drop but the voice call is normal. Is it a normal situation?

Well, it depends on on what type of a IP Phone you have ??
I have 0% packet drop when pinging a 7971 IP Phone connected to a 3750 on a completely different subnet and vlan.
