I think I know the answer to this but I was wondering of anyone could confirm. I'm wondering if it's possible to setup paging through IP phones via CallManager? If not can you suggest a way to tie into an existing overhead paging system (very old system ). I don't think multiple zones are a requirment for this location in question.
Thanks!

CUCM doesn't have paging, this requires a 3rd party app.
Couple of options:
Berbee Informacast (SingleWire)
Syn-Apps

Another solution that you should definitely consider is www.2Ring.com/IPPS.

Hi, a couple of years ago i built a simple paging system using the rtpx uri for the cisco ip phones.
Depending on your lan infrastructure you can get this to work fairly quickly.
Go to developer.cisco.com and pick technologies/ip telephony, click on the resources and download the pdf sdk guide. Check chapter 4 (4-7).
If you're interested i'll send you some of the stuff i did but i have to look for it.
