PBX extension (allow) and External Calls (block)

Hi,

I have an IP phone and I'd like it to accept only internal calls (from other IP phones and from PBX extensions)

Is it possible to block external calls from PSTN (PSTN goes to PBX > Gateway > CallManager).. and allow calls from PBX extensions ?

Both calls comes from the same gateway...

Hi Andrei,

If you are using DID (Direct In Dial) for your inbound calling numbers then you can use any block of numbers that are non-DID for these "Internal Only" users. For example, if your DID range is XXX-XXX-2000 to 2299 (300 DID numbers) you could use 4000 to 4299 for these dummy DN's. They can still be called Internally but not from the PSTN.
