Personal Directory Changes between 6.0.1 --> 6.1.2

To fix the great pain in the but issue with Personal Address Book from 4.X to 6.X we created a SURL with a link and did the auto-login feature. When we upgraded to 6.1.2 this broke and now everyone gets a PD Authentication error with the old URL and a login prompt with the new. This is the current configuration, can anyone validate or suggest fixes? We are trying to get auto-login for Personal Address Book working in 6.1.2.

SURL: http://<HOSTNAME to subscriber>:8080/ccmpd/pdCheckLogin.do?

Parameters

name - username i.e. rraver

pin - user pin i.e. 1234

name - device name i.e. SEPXXXXXXXX

Anyone get this working as a service in 6.1.2 to auto-login for PD? Above is also not working for me in 6.1.2.

I did a sniffer trace and the URL being requested by the phone is /ccmpd/pdCheckLogin.do?
