I am just trying to add two ip phones to the ccm manually but they are showing regitrationi unknown. And both are the7962 new phones .They are showing some ip address of class A and not showing any option to change that.

Hi
1) Unlock phone by pressing **#
2) Erase configurationby selecting erase configuration option.
3) Disable DHCP on ip phone. And enter IP address, Default gateway, Subnet mast and TFTP (CUCM )ip address.

This is not working . Phone is not unlocking **# is not working . I have dailed it by hocking up and on hock as well.

Select settings, select Network configuration, scroll down to erase configuration which will be showing No next to it.
Now if you see a lock symbol on top right corner, press **# which will unlock it.
Now select Yes button to erase configuration.

So it looks like you DHCP is not working properly, make sure you have a scope defined for your voice vlan with option 150 defined that points to TFTP server.

Actually i am adding these phones manually. Is it neccassry to define tftp server in case of manually. And what options i need to activate in servisability window.
