Phone load & templates for SRST Mode

Any body can help what is wrong with this config. and how I can get auto load from CUCM, I am unable to get phone loaded, please see attached phone regesteration log.

What is the phone type and what are you seeing on the phone?

Hi Chris

The phone model is 6921, and the message on the phone is "Phone not registered".

I tested with 7945 model and it works, but with the model above dosen't work.

What version of IOS are you using? This may be bug CSCti24483.

Notice the following error:

StationButtonTemplateReqMessage for unsupported phone-type 495

Any idea how do I upload the firmware on the SRST router, and where to download?

First I would update the IOS to either 15.1T or 15.1M train.

The I would install latest firmware file for 6921 phone on CUCM.

To download all of the above you need to have valid Cisco contract, for IOS you browse to Support --> Downloads --> IOS and locate your router type

For 6921 firmware you can get it from here:

Can I upload the firmware for one disk phone, could you please give me the procedure.

Yes, you need to upgrade IOS to at least 15.1.1T as that is the first version that supported these phones.

As to the firmware upgrade after you install the firware on CUCM server, if you do not want to apply it to all phones simply make sure the device defaults page references the old firmware and then manually assign the new one as the load version on a single phone you want to use.
