phone ugrade

I have recently upgraded my phones to 9-3-1 sr4-1s and when i go to the phone and verify it shows  * sccp45.9-3-1SR4-1s*  do the asteriks mean anything or am i ok.  i dont see it affecting the phones in any way

This is normal behaviour, however there are a number of bugs in this release for which i have been advised to roll back, see: https://supportforums.cisco.com/discussion/12208516/call-transfer-sccp-931-sr4

I rolled back to SR3 and that seems like a better release.
