Hi there
we are looking for a setup to get the following workflow, we are using CUCM 10.5.2 and Jabber Clients 11.5.1 for Mac ->
we have a pickup group "dept-a" with 5 members. group pickup notification, pickup as such works fine.
if one of the members of this pickup group activates "forward all calls to voicemail" when not in the office, any incoming call to this user immediately goes to the users voicemail.
is it somehow possible to delay the voicemail and first let the other users of the pickup group see this incoming call and let them be able to pick up the call for this user not in the office at that time. only after x seconds, when nobody from the group picks up, it should finally go to the users voicemail box.
thanks

Hi Jurg,
The problem here is that the Forward all setting trumps all other forwarding and is always going to be immediate. The only way to allow the other users to be able to use call pickup would be to have the member not use Forward all and let them know that their calls will be covered via call pickup and forward no answer to voicemail ( @ x number of seconds) if no other member is available.
Cheers!

+5 to Rob, if they actually need to use CFA, you can use a line group instead, and whatever call forward setting they have, will be ignored when the call arrives via the hunt pilot..
