I am having an issue getting a 7975 to register with CME 8.8... It worked fine when the phone was directly plugged into a switch module on the router, but now that I have the phone on my desk, and the 2911 is in the DC, the phone is in a registration loop...
If I run "debug voice register events\errors" I am consistantly getting the line "Contact doesn't match any pools" & "auth absent"...
Under the command "show voice register pool X" it show's that there hasn't been any registration attempts to the configured pool:

What am I doing wrong!?... I came across the Cisco site below that references something similar to what I am experiencing, yet the 7975 doesn't have the ability (that I can see atleast) like the 7960 has to change the username\password via the settings button:
https://supportforums.cisco.com/docs/DOC-3529
I did scp down the xml file for the phone from the router and the username\password combo are exactly the same as those define in the voice register pool 3...
Via the command "debug ccsip message" I am showing the following:

Hey Ronak,
Thanks very much for taking the time to help me out! I apprecate it.
So, I finally got the phones to register with CME and the solution ended up being associated with that fact that I am running a VRF on the 2911... Arrgh... I ended up coming across a document that indicated the need to designate a VRF as a "voice" vrf using the command "voice vrf XXXX". After doing this, the phones registered great.
Thanks for your help!
