pointed toll-free voicemail to internal EXT

I am new to this Cisco VOIP system. I need to know where I can find the toll free number details. I had a request today to move the voicemail from the existing  user to another user . I Need The toll free is 866.x.x.x.x  Voicemail to pointed to Ext 2122 or email address for that user

I cant see anywhere , any need help please

set by step how to do that ...... please

Hi,

Toll Free Numbers are always pointed towards the Toll Numbers, i.e. when you dial any toll free number e.g. 1-800-553-2447 , it rings some where a toll number e.g. 1 408-526-7209

So here are the steps you may want to follow:

1. On the GW (presuming it is PRI) start a debug (debug isdn q931)

2. Dial the Toll Free Number and you should see your Calling Number and the Toll Number as the Called Number

3. Once you know the Toll Number, follow the Call Flow in the CCM (start from GW and then Translation Pattern etc) and see where the call is landing

4. Once you know the exact DN and the configuration on the DN you can change the parameters in the Unity Connection (voicemail) for the Toll Free

what does this toll free number do? and when is it called?  and what is your voicemail system? Unity Connection?

This toll-free Number is for getting voicemail only , if some one call this number will take him to the voicemail

The Voicemail system is Unity

If I run debug isdn q931 on the router its not going to effect anything .

cos like you know  sometimes if you do debug on the router they might crash it

so it is safe to run  debug isdn q931
