Polycom IP7000 with CUCM 10.52

We are having an issue with registring Polycom IP7000 phone with CUCM 10.52.

We were able to register the phone with CUCM. However, the device is continuously registering and unregistring. We have a separate publisher, TFTP and subscriber server on our CUCM cluster.

On the IP7000 configuration, we used one of the subcribers to complete the registration. However, it sounds like we are missing something. On  DHCP, we were told to configure only Option 4 and and 42. There is nothing configured on Option 150/160/161. We tried TFTP on Option 150 - still did not help.

We have a working IP7000 in lab. However, in lab we have only one server with Pub, Sub and TFTP. So, we are not sure what makes it work in the lab and what is missing from production. Both lab and production devices on the Polycom GUI, are configured the same....

Any suggestions would be grea -- Thanks All in advance.

Hi,

If you are able to get it to work in lab but not in production then the first thing you can do is to compare the config on both. Option 150 is neeeded for TFTP and callmanager service needs to be running on the server to which you are trying to register the phone as a third party SIP device. You can refer the following post and doc for info on the config needed to register a Polycom device to cucm

If the issue persists then you need packet captures from the Polycom device to investigate the SIP and TFTP traffic.
