Postage machine with VG202

I've read all the posts but haven't seen any clear signs of success with being able to get a VG202 to work with a postage machine.

Of course, fax machines work without any issues but it's just with the postage machine.

The postage machine we're using is a CentorMail. The devices seem to get connected but then the call is dropped.

The VG202 has 15.1 on it and CallManager is 8.6

Call flow: Postage machine - VG202(Port 0/0)- H323 - CUCM 8.6 - H323 - 3900 VG w/ PRI - ISDN provider

Hi.

I suggest you to configure a voip dialpeer on your 3900 VG with answer-address option to match calling number  of VG202 port and set modem passthrough option.

Eg.

DN configured on VG port :5900

dial-peer voice XX voip

answer-address 5900

modem passthrough nse codec g711ulaw

codec g711ulaw

dtmf-relay h245-alphanumeric

no vad

HTH

Regards

Carlo
