Problem With Call Dialling On Elastix Or Asterisk With Cisco 7941

Hi Dear Friend

When Calling With Number With Prepend and Area Code on Cisco 7941 and send To elastix

For example

My preprend 9

909131407063

Send To pbx This Number

0913140706

And after Dial show me on LCD

0913140706

and Delete last Number

3 on my number that dialling

How Solve This Problem on 7941 ????

Pls help me

You can’t, at least not the “drop the 3” part. The PBX will need to interpret and transform the dial string.

 

The phone has a concept of SIP Dial Rules when registered to Cisco call control but they are rarely used. That would be capable of dropping the leading digit portion of your request.

Cisco doesn’t document how this is consumed by the phone though. Here is a Google search result of someone else appearing to reverse engineer it:

Where is this 10-digit number being shown?  At the dialing end or the destination?  

If this is destination, check the SEPmacaddress.cnf.xml.
