We installed Cisco IP Communicator on the new laptops we have (10 pcs) received.
The installation went without problems, but when the tuning wizard popped up, the problems started. It came up with the message "No compatible Sound device found"
The sound card (Realtek HD audio) works perfectly in Windows 7 SP1 32 - bit
The hardware is a Fujitsu LifeBook E751.
The driver of the sound card is up to date according the Fujitsu support site.
We checked almost everything and also tried different version of the IP Communicator, but without any luck.
The same version of the IP Communicator on an HP machine with the same OS works perfectly (has also other sound card hardware installed)
Could someone give us a hint howe to find a solution for this problem
Thank you

Hi Roger,
Make sure you have a headset or audio recording device plugged in.

Hello Chris,
thanks for the reply.
Indeed, plugging in a sound device did the trick.
It seems that these sound cards react different than the ATI sound cards in the HP machines we have.
Kind regqrds,
Roger
