PVDM3 and purpose of SRST license

HI,

can any body tell me about what is PVDM3 and what are no. of port on pvdm3 and what kind of port on PVDM3

also keen to know what is the purpose of SRST license

how 2911 router act as a voice agteway

Hi Rajat,

SRST is required when either Call manager goes down or WAN link goes down.In that, IP phones would go un-regsiter. Hence, to have basic functionality like PSTN connectivity, IPphone to IP phone, SRST and thus, SRST licnese is required.
