Query on Cisco IP Phone 6945 supported by CME 8.0 or 8.1 or 8.5

I tried searching if the CME 8.0/8.1/8.5 can support Cisco IP Phone 6945 registration.

Could you please let me know is CME support Cisco Gig phone 6945 registration?

If yes which relaese will support ?

The 6945 is not supported yet on any current CME version

The answer is yes Call Manager Express (CME) supports the 6945: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cuipph/6945/firmware/9_1_1/english/release/notes/6945_911.html#wp193134.

However the CME 8.5 documentation doesn't list the phone as supported yet: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucme/requirements/guide/cme85spc.htm.html.

6945 is supported with CME.

You need to do the following to get them registered.

Support 6945 new sccp endpoints on SRST/CME/CME-as-SRST.
1. add specific built-in ephone device
2. add special handling as RT-LITE 6921/6941/6961 family

I have CME 8.6 and ip phone 6945 , accroding to the following link these phone are supported by CME 8.8
