Question about hardware conferencing.

Hi,

i already configured hardware conferencing, with the aim to establish a multi ad-hoc conference.

But their is still a question. The system is a Cisco 2821 service-integrated router with CME 8.1

When i establish an ad-hoc conferenc with more then 3 participiants and i press on the conferencing station "end call", the other participiants are still in conference.

Is it possible to terminate all calls, which are in conference after pressing "end call"?

sorry, just seen the CME part, there is a telephony service command, just looking for it now.....

can you try putting "no keep-conference" under the phone that initiates the ad hoc conf..... it should be off by default though.

also, you have to remember this *only* works for the initiator

By default if conference initiator hangs up the call, the conference is terminated.

To keep the conference parties connected when the conference initator leaves, configure under the  ephone “keep-conference“. When the initiator hangsup the remaining parties stay connected. If he uses the end-call soft key, the conference is terminated.

To keep the conference parties connected when the conference initator leaves by hanging up or pressing the end-call softkey, use “keep- conference endcall” option under ephone

Hi,

i do not understand it, because the default under ephone is "no keep-conference"?

Should it not terminate the hole conference under this circumstances?

1. i dial the first phone

2. i press softkey "confrn" and i dial the second number

3. i press softkey "confrn" again the conference is established

4. i press "end call" and the other two phones are still in a conference, they have a connection

is it possible that this commands only work for three-way conference; this is a multi ad-hoc conference..?

-- edit --

ok i tested it now again and again, but it is not terminating the established conference.

i updated my config above, is their a wrong configuration?

-- edit --

ok now it is working. This commands you will need; after configuration reset phone:

conference admin

conference drop-mode creator
