Recommended IP SLA Threshold for voice

Hi guys,

I am after some official Cisco documentation for configuring thresholds for RTT, jitter etc for voice via IP SLA.

It seems to be something difficult to find.

I am not asking if rtt should be less than 300ms or jitter less than 30ms or 40ms.

I am asking what is the official recommended IP SLA threshold for cisco voice on any network (variation +-5,10.15%-when shall we really alert on this ?)

Thanks a lot!

Gregory

the cisco recommendation re. jitter/packet loss and rtt are not median values with standard deviances or tolerance levels.  cisco states that all these values should be below the maximum at all time.

I would recommend setting your sla's for instance 20-25% below the recommendation so you have head room.
