Reloading custom ringtones

Is there any way to force a phone to reload custom ringtones?

I fixed a messed up ringtone file but I can't get my phones to use the new file unless I rename it.

Other than resetting the phone, the only thing I've tried is stopping and starting the TFTP service, but to no avail.

Do the phones actually cache the file?

If so, is there a way to clear it?

Try this the following: 1. 'wr mem' to save the CME config.

2. reload the CME and see if it works.

I probably should have specified that this is CCM 3.14 running on Win2K server.

Sounds like you're saying that a reboot of the CCM is needed.
