Remove requirement to dial 9 for Fax machine going out SIP Trunk?

We just recently moved from analog for our printer to sending it out the SIP trunk, and people are complaining about having to dial 9 before dialing out.

Is there a way to prevent just that one device from having to dial 9 on a UC560?

Would you have to create COR lists to restrict a specific dial-peer to that specific voice-port the fax is using?  Any examples available if that would work?

Thanks!

Best way is to create a new dial-peers that have patterns that don't include the 9 ie: [2-9]...... and [2-9]..[2-9]...... and 1[2-9]..[2-9]...... depending on the patterns needed for the area where you are. Then create a new COR member, assign it to a new COR list, assign the new outgoing COR list to the new dial-peers and assign the new incoming COR list to only the DN/phone.

You could do it by just adding new dial-peers without the COR stuff but then you could have overlap.
