Report of extensions and and call volumes

Hi all,

I'm hoping someone can help. 

I need to generate a report which simply returns a list of all our extensions and their owners and the number of incoming and outgoing calls each extension has made.

Essentially we're trying to figure out who are using their extensions and who aren't.

I've spent a lot of time googling and poking around in the reports in CAR but can't seem to figure it out, so If you could avoid pointing me to the CAR and say "it's somewhere in there" that'd be appreciated.

CDR/CAR are canned reports and what you get from those reports is fixed, they cannot be modified. If the report/info you want is not provided by any of them, then you need to look into a 3rd party billing solution that provides the information you want, or send the CDR flat files to a repository and then do your own processing to get the exact data/report you want.

I don't mind getting extra data, but there doesn't seem to be a report where it will, at the very least, list the user, number and number of calls made, surely that is data that would be useful, thus a report for that?

As I mentioned, CDR/CAR reports are fixed. You can reach out to your SE/AM and submit a PER so it can be considered for future releases, but that will be in the future if they choose to add/modify the existing reports.

Right now, if you want other information, you need a 3rd party billing server or do your own processing of the CDR flat files.
