Hello all and i hope i can find the best guide here

I have a company which the publisher went down completely and there is no backup the only server is up the subscriber

Now i want to build the publish again without wiping out the configuration i followed the guild in the below link but i had a problem that after the guide i found that publisher wiped out the data of the subscriber. (Ofcourse i did that on a test lab not in production).

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/unified-communications/unified-communications-manager-callmanager/116946-technote-product-00.html

Please help with a tip maybe i did something wrong

Hello,

I suspect that you didn't follow the full procedure correctly. Judging by what you are saying, you probably didn't stop the database replication on the subscriber.

What happened is that the newly installed publisher started replicating its empty database to the subscriber (which means wiping it).

Do you have a DRS available?

- I do not recall if it will let you, but you may want to try run DRS from a SUB and possibly use that.

I have done this process a couple times before, once using the guide, and once with help of Cisco TAC. It worked fine both times but has to be followed exactly. At what stage does the data disappear?
