Restricting calls to an exension

Hello,

 I am running CUCM 9.1.2. I am adding a full duplex speaker to CUCM and I have given it an extension. All works fine but I would like to somehow limit who can call this extension. I would like to either block all but certain phones or block people using FAC's maybe.... I just don't know what my options are. Anyone have ideas?

The best way is to create a partition and CSSs. Assign the partition to the new extension and to a specific CSS. Assign the CSS to the Lines/Phones, that you want to allow.

It depends on how you configured it what you can do, if it's thru a RP, then FAC and CMC are options, otherwise, you might only have CSS and partitions to play with.
