hi,
I just wondering if anyone run into this issue and has any suggestions.
basically its a cucm with h323 gateway. when someone dials a local/long distance, i take that and globalize it to add +1. so it will show up on the phone display as +1 followed by local /long distnace #. (ex.+14162221111)
the problem is that, ,the call manager is doing it correctly however as soon as it reaches the 323 gateway, i have a dialpeer that takes the sent called number with 9 followed by local /long distance # strips the 9 and sends it out of PRI.. as soon as it strips the 9, teh phone display of hte called number changes from +14162221111 to 4162221111.
how do we make sure that called # on the display remains +1 but gateway while gateway strips the 9.
thanks
vijay

It should work if you set the service parameter "Always Display Original Dialed Number" to true

nope that will retain the actual dialed number 9 followed by 10 digits

Oh I missed that you were globalizing. I thought that the users were dialing with +1
