Route Calls to PSTN from integrated pbx based on CLID

Hi All,

I have been reading a few posts around allowing/blocking calls based on CLID. I have been looking at these posts amongst others.

http://dbenda-en.blogspot.co.za/2013/06/cucm.html

https://www.byteworks.com/blog/calling-party-number-cpn-based-call-routing-using-cisco-unified-communications-manager-8-x-and-sip-gateway-protocol/

https://supportforums.cisco.com/document/71966/blocking-calls-based-calling-party-id

None of which speaks to my requirement. I have a client who runs a legacy phillips pbx and wants to integrate into my existing cucm environment in order to do voip. Client currently has 2 DID ranges.

So i put my router down and register the 2 DID ranges using MGCP to the cucm and the port to the legacy pbx also with mgcp. Tested all call flows no problems.

Because the client has 2 DID ranges, they requested me to route the calls out of the respective PRI to which the DID belongs to. So if the PBX sends me a CLID of 9999 as an example it must route out of the one PRI and if the PBX send me 8888 it must route out the other.

Has anyone done this before?

Regards

Hi conwell,

Following the post you mentioned with some little tweak it should work: https://supportforums.cisco.com/document/71966/blocking-calls-based-calling-party-id.

For example:

1. Create pstn_pt. Create route pattern on pstn_pt pointing the MGCP gateway

2. Create pstn_css containing pstn_pt

3. Assign pst_css to translation pattern( ! ) on Filter_List partition.

In the post example, call should be go to a internal phones, on your case should be redirect to PSTN.

Let me know if that work for you.

Regards

You need to do routing based on CLID

make a TP (!) which matches any number and mark the parameter "route next hop based on calling number" then proceed with route patterns pointing to mgcp gateway.
