Hi,
I'm looking for some sort of reference covering the meanings of the various SCCP messages. Is there anything published by Cisco, I expected to find something but no luck so far.
In particular I'm investigating a dropping call issue and trying to work out the significance of various "stationmediaPathevt" messages that are sent by the phone just before the drop.
Thanks, Tony S

Hi @TONY SMITH ,
Check this link about a bug related to what you indicate:

I hope this can help you.

Thanks, however I don't think the actual bug is relevant given the date and the fixed-in versions. In these traces the SCCP messages seem to be intact, for example "StationMediaPathEvt Speaker (3) = Off (2)"
Doing some tests and taking a packet capture it could be as simple as just indicating that the user was switching from speaker (hands free) to the handset, or back.
Strange that there's no Cisco document covering the messages and their meanings. However that bug report also seems to support my guesswork ...
"The data for the StationMediaPathEvt will consist of two items, a status and
ID. The ID will consist of one of three items (1=headset, 2=handset,
3=speaker). The status will be one of two options (1=on, 2=off)."
