Hi Everyone,
Well I am making some headway with Call Manager and Unity voicemail systems. Now I am trying to figure out how to get Unity to send an email with the voicemail message to the user. I really don't see how to make this happen. Can anyone help me out?
Here are the specifics:
Call Manager 4.1 (3) sr8a
Cisco Unity 5.0 Build 5.0 (1)
I know that both of these pieces of software are ancient but it's what I have to work with.
Any information, thoughts, opinions, or suggestions are very welcome. Thank you all for the time! Have a great day! TGIF!
Respectfully,
George D.

You are right about "ancient", we are talking about 13 years ancient :-)
With Unity (product no longer supported) you deployed it either with standalone dedicated Exchange or integrated to production exchange. If you have dedicated Exchange for mailstore then you get no unified messaging, if you are integrated with production email exchange then you have UM by default. Sounds, like you have the first one which means there is no integration to email and the only thing you may be able to do is setup email notification, but that will not deliver the actual message to your email.

Chris,
Thank you for the reply. It must be integrated with our Exchange as everyone except these few new users get the voicemails sent to their email, myself included. I am not a high level guy, just a field engineer and I am in over my head but my bosses have tasked me with getting our new users straightened out.
I am not sure where I should be looking to set this up. Is it Unity or is it an Exchange function?
Again, many thanks for the assist!

Check if the mailbox is associated to a user with proper email address in Exchange.

Well, I was able to figure it out. I found the setting in Unity to pull the user from Exchange and now the voicemails are going to email.
Thank you all so very much for the help! My boss thinks I am a genius now! Have a fantastic day!
