Set correct VLAN on a Cisco IP communicator 8.6.1.0

Dear Cisco support community

How do you set correct VLAN for the Cisco softphones, the version number is 8.6.1.0. We are using them under Windows 7 Pro 64-bit SP1.

We have around 10 phones which keeps on joining a wrong VLAN, but in the Cisco softphones I cant find Network configuration similar to a Cisco 7941 hardphone.

What VLAN are they joining?  They will be on the same VLAN as your PC, which is most likely not the Voice VLAN your physical phones are using.
