Set Default Background 8961/ CME

Hello Everyone,

                         I'm trying to set a Custom Background image as the default on 8961 phones using CME. I've got the image created and uploaded, List.xml updated and the image is able to load successfully when i do it manually; I'd now like to automate this as the default image for all phones. I'm assuming I have to set this in the default cnf xml file for the phone model, but I'm not entirely sure and google hasn't come through for me.

 

Any guidance would be much appreciated.

Hi Frank,

It seems that there is no way to automate this natively with CME. You may check for some third party apps which can accomplish this for you. Check this similar post for cucm
