Hi,

my problem is that a user has „single beep“ (like a Keybutton pressing) during the call, but only one side hears this "beep"

I checked the Callmanager Tace Files and I find at every calls the following states.

02/07/2011 16:25:41.067 CCM|StationD:    (0000882) CallState callState=15 lineInstance=1 callReference=107054133 privacy=0 precedenceLv=4 precedenceDm=0|<CLID::CCMCL3><NID::10.224.179.1><CT::6,100,16,2200572.8><IP::10.224.179.14><DEV::Port 57749><LVL::State Transition><MASK::0020>

01/24/2011 11:25:16.429 CCM|StationD:    (0000882) StartTone tone=45(CallWaitingTone), direction=0.|<CLID::CCMCL3><NID::10.224.179.1><CT::6,100,16,1654965.8><IP::10.224.179.14><DEV::Port 58216><LVL::State Transition><MASK::0020>

We have Cisco Callmanager V.7.1.3b and a Cisco Phone 7962 Phoneload SCCP42.9-0-3S

My Questions: which means callState=15 and what is the StartTone tone=45 ?

can someone explain that to me

thx

Hi Stefan,

CallState 15 stands for HoldRevert. I believe it is used to indicate call park reversion.

StartTone tone=45 is for the tone to let the user know that there's a call waiting to be answered (CallWaitingTone)

hi Sriram,

thank you for your information.

the user told me that he has heared the tone during the call. he has the call not on hold or parked.

and I have the callstate=15 and the startone=45 on trace files from this call.

The Call duration is only one minute and the callstate=15 is in the middle of the trace files.

It's very strange.

Is it helpfully if I post the tracefile ?

cheers

Hi Stefan,

Yes - that would help. Make sure you upload the detailed CUCM sdi and sdl traces from ALL call processing servers in the cluster, for the time period of the call. Let me know

- Calling party

- Called party

- Time stamp of call

- Exact user experience

hi Sriram,

we have sloved the problem.

it is the call waiting tone that the user makes crazy

I call him today, and after he explain me in which situation he heard the tone, I know... It must be the call waiting tone !!!

Thank you for supporting.

cheers
