Hello Everyone,
I'm having an issue trying to get a Polycom Soundstation 7000 IP to register with my CUCM. Here are the bullet points:
-I've followed the Polycom guide for registration
-I've spent 40 minutes on the phone with Polycom support, with no luck
-I've searched this forum up and down, and tried all the configs I've seen people post, still with no luck
-The phone pulls an IP address, correct gateway, etc
-The CUCM can ping the polycom and vice versa
-The CUCM has never given the phone a failed registration, it has been "Unknown" through all troubleshooting
-The polycom has the SIP servers set to the Pub and Sub, over port 5060, with TCP preferred, the same is true of its line settings. I've tried all the other transport mode options
-I've set the publisher and subscriber as the outbound proxy, and tried without any outbound proxy
-The polycom can successfully pull time from our NTP server which on the same switch as the CUCM
-I've got the polycom firmware updated to a version that is listed as compatible with our CUCM version
-I've moved the Polycom to the same switch as the CUCM, it made no difference
-The phone has message digest credentials plugged in
I really don't know what else to try to get this thing working, any help is appreciated, see screens for the CUCM configs.
Thanks!

Hi Zach.
From your screenshot, you didn't associated the end user with Directory Number.
Please associate it and try again.
Let me know

Carlo,
No, there is no end user associated with the DN, is that necessary for the phone to register?

Hi Zach
Yes is the authorization user you need to configure in Polycom Station.
Just a recap
On Polycom
User id = Directory Number
Password = End User Password
Authorization User= End User Username associated with DN
