Dear All,
Can we use SIP in India for both inbound & outbound? I heard that is not fully utilized and some TRAI regulations, is that true?
May you help me with reference link, please?

Thank you, Vivek.
That was good one, but what I am hearing is, there are two types in SIP.
They are: SIP PRI & MVOIP.
SIP PRI: This is identical to T1/E1 circuit and could make in & out calls in INDIA.
MVOIP: MVOIP SIP trunk allows only outbound calls in INDIA.(please correct me).
Could you throw some light on this, please?

Hi Syed,
I don't think there would be any difference between SIP PRI and MVOIP except the restrictions made by Telco.
In India, I have seen SIP trunk is available on dedicated link provided by Telco. There is no restriction on outbound calls. You can make PSTN calls across the globe. Just note that you can't use the same service over WAN, it will work only on dedicated link provided by Telco because of TRAI regulations.
