SIP trunk between CUCM 7 and CME V8.0

hi all,

I have IP Phone register in CME 8.0 and other with Cisco Unified CallManager 7.1.5. i tried to establish a Sip Trunk between those 2 ToIP systems but Ip Phones from two sides can not reach each other. when i call from CME IPPhone to CUCM IPPhone, the first one keep giving a ring tone even after the call was answered at the second one.

Your best bet is to pull a detailed CM trace to diagnose this.  If it is easier for you, if you can get a packet capture of the SIP traffic during a failure between the two nodes, that could also suffice.

On a hunch, if one side keeps ringing when the other side answers, I'd guess it's either a firewall issue (200 OK or ACK being sent but not making it to the other side) or perhaps something with rel1xx & PRACK.

Is there a CUBE between the two clusters?
