SIP Trunk Help

My company is purchasing a 20Mb SIP trunk from our ISP. The ISP is providing a 2951 router that connects to their fiber ring. I have a few questions.

1. Do I plug their router into a switch or into my voice gateway?
2. If into my voice gateway, where can I find a configuration guide for how to configure the port?
3. I have Unity connection 8.5 and CUCM 7.1. I am having trouble finding documentation on configuring the SIP trunk on these.

I appreciate any help that anyone can offer.

Hi,

The SIP trunks must be received on a gateway. If you are connecting to a SIP SP, it might be useful to check the CUBE. It provides session border controller capabilities such as security and it runs in a router. Please refer to:
