I am doing some lab practice, and I can't get SIP URI routing working from UCM to CME. I have a SIP route pattern and a SIP trunk. The SIP trunk is pointed at the Trunk directly, not through a route group. When I use DNA, it forces me to put "sip:" in front of the SIP dial pattern, but it finds the route pattern when I do that and says that it should route correctly. I have trying using "3001@cme.com" or "sip:3001@cme.com" in the user phone number field, but it fails in the same manner. It isn't sending the traffic to the SIP trunk. I have changed the SIP security profile to use UDP to send to the CME box. I even added a numeric pattern that points at the SIP trunk, and that works. The CME box show no output at all from a "debug ccsip mess" when I attempt to dial from the directory. I have dialed from both a 7971 and a 7941 with the same result. I can't quite tell what is blocking this, but it never makes it to CME. What am I missing? I know I have done this before, and it is driving me nuts!
