SMTP service not available - CUCM 7.1(5)

Hello all,

I have looked around our CUCM on ways to activate the SMTP host for CAR reporting.

Currently under SMTP in OS administration I see "The SMTP service is not available".

Does the SMTP service can only be set up during the initial installation? if not where in CUCM do I go to set it up?

Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Try the command line command "set smtp" to enable it.
