Hi everyone,
We are getting SNMP alarms on Spectrum from 2x MGCP gateways. They are both 2811s running IOS 12.4-24.T5. Both Gateways are connected to PSTN via ISDN PRI.
The alarm name is "POOR QUALITY OF VOICE NOTIFICATION" (see screenshot attached). I have done some research and found that it is part of the CISCO-VOICE-DIAL-CONTROL-MIB:
Poor quality of voice notification. A cvdcPoorQoVNotificationRev1 is sent at the call disconnection time if the value of cvVoIPCallHistoryIcpif exceeds the value of cvVoIPPeerCfgIcpif in the call associated peer.
No one is complaining about the quality, but I just wanted to look into this further. Does anyone know how to investigate this Alarm further, or can it be ignored?
