Speed dial/Fast dial - Line selection

Hi Experts,

 

How do we force Speed Dial/Fast Dial to select a line before dialing out the number ? Please share your experience.

If you have multiple lines on the phone and press the speed dial button it will always use the first line on the phone. If you prefer to use another line you need to go off-hook on that line and then select the speed dial.

When i go off-hook it do not let me to dial speed dial number or toggle the speed dial from the button.
