Hello Experts,
We are testing Transfer fonctionality in SRST.
Phone 1 (ext 56101) calles phone 2 (ext 56102), phone 2 answers the call with no issue. Phone 2 transfets the call to phone 3 (ext 56103 )and the transfer fails. It's an internal call with 5 digits dialing.. It looks like the problem is with internal calls. The call coming from outside can be answered and transfered with no issue.
Please find attached some wireshark capture as well as the logs.
Thanks,
MK

After going through the logs, I noiiced that the extensions (5610X) are not the phone extensions but Extension Mobility Profile Extensions. I always believe EM is not supported in SRST mode but it looks like I have been mistaken. There's something that I don't understand. How phones are being registed to GW using EM profile extensions?
Thanks,
MK

Assume it's the logged in UDP at the time the device detects that it's going into SRST state. At that time the device will just pass it's current configuration to the router that provides the SRST service.

Thank you for replying Roger,
The way I understood was when in SRST mode the end user is logged off of their profile and they use whatever is assigned to the phone before EM. Is that right?

Not per what you previously wrote. To be fully transparent I’ve never looked at how this works and I haven’t made any specific effort to look up how this works. Recommend you to try it out and see what result you see for yourself.
