Hi All,

Unity version = 10.5

I would like to use the tool "User Data Dump", but I have to start the proxy service.

When I go to the documentation for this version, it gives some steps that can not find it.

seems like those steps are for version 8.x.

it says.

To start the database proxy server.

step 1: in Cisco Unity Connection Serviceability, expand Tools and select Service Management.

           * Service Management does not exist in 10.5, the correct is Service Activation.

step 2: In the Optional Services section, find Unity Connection Database Proxy row and select Activate.

           * Optional Service Label not found. either not seen Unity Connection Database Proxy.

Can you please help me in how to start the database proxy service in unity 10.5 ?

Thanks in advance,

Alberto

My bad,

I was checking on Cisco Unify Serviceability instead of Cisco Unity Connection Serviceability.

Steps on the documentation are correct.

To Start the Database Proxy Service

Step 1 In Cisco Unity Connection Serviceability, expand Tools and select Service Management.

Step 2 In the Optional Services section, find the Unity Connection Database Proxy row and select Activate.
