Are this switches compatible with pre-standard Poe phones like 7940 and 7912?
We detected that working if you connected before switch on this switches and working ok, but if you connected to switch already on don´t work.

And what about the models 7912 and 7940? is it not supported in this switches?

36 and 38s do not support the old poe type its all changed to IEEE standard 802.3af type 3 , if there not on that list there not supported , i know definitly that the 7940s are not supported only 7941s
just google 7940 data sheet if you want the reference links i dont have the eaxct links for each phone

As tested on a "WS-C3850-12X48U-S" the 7940 does power on after a bit of delay.
