System message in CME

Hi all

A simple question, is it possible to remove the system message displayed on the ip phone, so it won't block my background? I am using CME 8.

Try no system message

Or put system message and hit enter without text

Thanks for your reply. no system message will set the system message to default "Cisco Unified CME", system message without text will be an invalid command

Ok try this trick if it ok with you,  I know it is not the proper way :)

Put system msg followed by one letter or charecheter such as ! This way you will not have the txt blocking the background unless there is a min number of letters
